Do Americans feel grateful for the help NATO allies provided in response to 9/11?

After 9/11, NATO's Article 5 was invoked for the first (and only) time ever by the United States.

Troops from many of the allied countries joined the fight in Afghanistan to help USA. More than 1000 of them died in combat.

Now JD Vance is scolding president Zelenskyj for "not being grateful enough" or whatever shit.

Are USA grateful that when USA called, we answered? I don't see this talked about.
