Why did you fail?

With my driving test coming up very soon, I thought I’d put a post together collating all the reasons people have failed - especially if it was for something silly or something completely unexpected you’d never encountered before!

All contributions appreciated, and I’ll go first - I failed my first test for not stopping to give way to an oncoming van because I thought there’d be enough space for both of us. There was not…

I then got another serious for hesitation later on but honestly I’ve got no idea when or why - the examiner slammed the brake on for this first fault and from then the test is a blur really because I knew it was over
