Acne on stimulant vs. non-stimulant meds

I started taking methylphenidate XL in April and my current dosage is 36mg. I used to have bad acne until I was 18 and suddenly 7 years later my skin has been bad again ever since I started taking it.

I've read some Reddit posts about there being a link between stimulant meds and recurrence of acne.

Has anyone ever switched to a non-stimulant med due to this? Or has anyone's skin improved after stopping stimulants?
